How to Use CGDI BMW read DME MSV80 ISN

I bought a new CGDI Prog BMW for my BMW CAS4 off cgdishop recently. Here I’d like to share my experience with you.

Now I share how to read DME MSV80 ISN with CGDI prog BMW.

Enter CGDI software

Select BMW ISN-> Wiring diagram

Follow the MSV80 wiring diagram to connect

Click on Read DME ISN

Make sure the battery has enough power and not disconnected

Note: Reading DME ISN requires programming DME. Please ensure that car battery has enough power, the programming process, please keep equipment cable connection.

It will take 5 minutes to read, please be patient.

Programming the MSV80 ECU

Note: The lights of CGDI BMW will keep flashing when reading ISN.

ECU is programmed successfully

Verify the flash is correct

Read DME ISN success
