How to add new key to 2013 Ford Fusion by Autel MaxiIM IM608 key programmer?

Car: Ford Fusion 2013 (has one working key)
Case: want to throw this used key and generate a new key by Autel IM608
Connect MaxiIM IM608 to the vehicle
Select IMMO-> Ford-> Manual Selection-> Ford-> USA-> Fusion->2013-2020->Smart key
->Keyless System (CAN)-> Key learning
Press Numbers of keys to check the key
Click Add Smart Key
Pay attention to the instruction of Add Smart key:
If the factory alarm of the vehicle is activated, you need to deactivate the factory alarm first before you can learn the keys.
To de-activate the factory alarm:
Close all the doors, open the driver’s door, put any prox key in the reader coil
(If it’s a keyed ignition, insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position)
Wait about 10-15 minutes before you hear 2 chirps from the vehicle, then the factory alarm is deactivated. You need to learn the keys immediately (in 1 minute).
Note: the procedure will not erase existing keys.
Then follow the prompts on the screen to turn on the ignition or open and close the driver door 1 time
It’s normal that the instrument panel turns black when performing the function.
Access security, it will take about 3-10 minutes in the whole process
Place the smart key to be learned into the slot, which is usually:
1.in the armrest box
2.in the cup holder
3.in the glove box
Learning key…
Learn the key successfully
Finally, when the key learning is completed, use the working key and new smart key to test the car
