Main operation steps:
1.Use M021 BENELLI DSK connector and main cable to connect OBDSTAR MS50 or OBDSTAR MS80 with the motorcycle-> start the motorcycle
2.Select [Moto Diag]-> [Europe]-> [BENELLI]-> [BENELLI V30.10]-> [Select from system]-> [T]-> [TRE K1130]-> [1130 i.e]-> [Motorcycle (Road)/(2006-
2013)]-> [ENG]-> [Walbro ECUA (2006-2013)]
3.Diagnose [ENG] system and perform the following functions:
--ECU information- OK
--Read fault codes- OK
--Erase fault codes- OK
--Read data flow (Value Live Data & State Live Data)- OK
--Special Function (TPS idle and Fuel trim, map 2)- OK
4.Enter [Service system (Service Lamp Reset)] -> Manual service function- OK
So, which OBDSTAR motorcycle diagnostic tool is better to use?
Both two OBDSTAR motorcycle scanners are the new generation diagnostic tools. They have a professional-level intelligent diagnosis, providing an unprecedented intelligent diagnosis and maintenance experience for motorcycle owners and repair shops.
In fact, it depends on your budget and the specific motorcycle model you want to diagnose besides 2011 Benelli TRE 1130k.
OBDSTAR MS50 is cheaper than MS80.
The reason is that MS50 only supports the most common motorcycle diagnosis from Asia and Europe while MS80 adds more luxury motorcycle diagnosis from Asia, Europe, and America. MS80 also provides IMMO key programming for Asian and European motorcycles but MS50 doesn’t support it. Moreover, MS80 adds more adapters accordingly.
