OBDSTAR P50 Reset Airbag with Godiag Full Protocol OBD2 Jumper

OBDSTAR P50 with its own P004 adapter and jumper can reset airbag perfectly. Godiag Full Protocol OBD2 Jumper is a good replacement for the OBDSTAR P004 airbag reset kit. For the customer who has X300 DP Plus C Package which has airbag reset software, you can use an extra P004 adapter and jumper or Godiag tricore cable to work together. Moreover, Godiag tricore cable also can be used with other airbag reset tool via OBD2 or dismantle ECU to do on bench, such as CarProg , iProg…   Here we use OBDSTAR P50 to individually work with P004 Adapter kit and Godiag Full Protocol OBD2 Jumper to reset airbag on Nissan.  

1. Reset airbag by OBDSTAR P50 with P004 Adapter & Jumper

Connect P004 adapter and P50 with the main cable, and connect to airbag ECU with the P004 jumper Make sure set the 120Ωresistance switch of P004 adapter to on, otherwise the communication will be error and fail to read ECU

2. Reset airbag by OBDSTAR P50 with Godiag Tricore Cable

Connect Godiag Full Protocol OBD2 Jumper and ECU depending on the definition Confirm the ECU terminals are connected correctly Connect the 120 ohm CAN protocol resistor again Connect the ECU dedicated regulated power supply Connect Godiag tricode cable to P50 airbag reset tool Turn on the analog ignition switch to check whether the ECU can send CAN protocol communication Except the connection is different, the airbag reset process is same. Tap Airbag Reset>> Airbag Reset newest version)>> Auto Search Part Number Manually input the part number of ECU which can be found on ECU’s label. Confirm the value entered is correct. Select the related airbag ECU model in the list Read ECU information Read DTC Read EEPROM data in advance function and save it in case of data lost caused by wrong operation. Turn off power button of OBDSTAR P004 adapter for 30 seconds and turn on again Erase crash data with the EEPROM data saved in the last step Write EEPROM data Erase DTC Read DTC again to check if the fault code disappear   Attach the related video for watching easily.
