New KT200 ECU programmer has been tested and confirmed works well on BMW MD1CS001 ECU via bench mode, reads EEPROM data without any issue. It currently supports BMW MD1CS001 1 series (F20)/(F40), X2 (F39), X3 (G01), 3 Series (G20)/(G21) and Countryman (F60).

Mini genderchanger
Pinout line (color jumper)
Power supply
BMW MD1CS001 TC298 TP ECU
Connection:
First, plug the mini genderchanger (adapter) into New KT200 ECU Chip Tuning Tool
Then, connect the other end of adapter to the bench box
And the other end of bench box is connected to the color jumper
Next, connect the other end of color jumper to ECU according to the wiring diagram in the KTsuit software
After that, connect the USB cable to the New KT200 host and computer
Finally, plug in the power cord
Step-by-step to read BMW MD1 ECU:
Run KTsuit software
Click Select driver
Select BMW>> TC 298 TP- BMW>> MD1CS001>> OK
Make sure the internet connection on the computer is good and keep the ECU power on
First click CONNECT to connect the ECU
Then click Read Eeprom to read the original ECU data and backup.
