Problem:
OBDSTAR DC706 ECU Tool failed to read Ford Lear MC9S12XEP768 BCM on bench. DC706 cannot get it to communicate with the Ford Lear BCM, and neither does V2 black housing.
The solution:
Please try to solve this problem with the following methods.
Method 1:
The old version ground pin is 1 pin across.
You can use Pinout 1 or Pinout 3 to read this Ford module.
The only difference between two pinouts is the ground PIN.
Method 2:
Use I/O terminal pinout which shows gnd 1 pin across.
One customer tried this and worked no issues.
