This post will show you how to change mileage on an AUDI A4 2001 by XTOOL X100 PRO2 auto key programmer via OBD2 port.
Something to know:
I don’t have an Audi to hand but the process I’m going to show you is exactly the same as Porsche Cayenne 2010.
There are a few warning lights on the dashboard that because have an ABS fault or waiting for a new sensor arriving. The mileage on the car right now is 105657.
Procedures:
Connect X100 PRO2 with OBDII port of the vehicle and turn Audio off
Press Dashboard and select Europe option to load all of the European vehicles that will actually cover
Now you can see: AUDI, BENTLEY, BENZ, CITROEN, FERRARI, FIAT, JAGUAR, LANDROVER, MASERATI, PEUGEOT, PORSCHE, RENAULT, SEAT, SKODA, SMART, VOLVO and VW
Select Porsche-> Cayenne-> 2010-
Press Backup and mileage-> Mile-> New File
Note: The purpose to backup the data is that you can revert back to your original file when you make a mistake.
Save the new file
Then input the new mileage you desire, here change the mileage to 102300
Mileage adjustment complete
The new mileage appears on the dashboard. It’s in the margin of error, that’s fine.
